    I wonder why there are no men angels in heaven. Seems they are always women or child angels. 🙂

    For reasons I don’t understand, I’ve recently started collecting angel figurines. They’re all women and children also. But very beautiful.

    I’m not a collector, per se, just someone who gathers about himself . . . well, angels. Probably as close as I’ll ever get to one. Maybe that’s why I collect them. 🙂

    I know you wrote the poem, but is there also a ghost from Japanese folk lore that plays with babies?

    Hi Sawa, love your beautiful blog. I am a fan of an artist called Mary Cicely Barker who sketched flower fairies. Although not angels, their simplistic, elegance and life like nature drew me to this artist. As a matter of fact, I buy a flower fairy ornament each Christmas to hang on our tree and we have over fifteen. Your angels remind me of Barker’s work. You are very talented.
